Rec-Run™ can be played with teams but can be played with as little as three (3) players in total – just play a different mode. Games are played to eleven (11) points. You can choose to play in FREE MODE or TEAM MODE. Rec-Run™ can be played at a length of 60, 70, 80, or 90 feet. One team or player will be up to swing and be known as the RUNNER. The other team or players will be pitching as well as in the field. They will be known as FlELDERS. The object is for a player or team to hit the ball and run through the flags located at the end of the course. Each player that makes it through the flags results in one (1) point. Sound easy? Think again. The Runner has to make it through the Fielders first. Oh, and one more thing, don’t step out of the lines. Good luck.
The Pitcher will stand in between the course at the line labeled “Pitching Line”.
Players in the field will pick any spot they want in the field and wait for the runner to hit the ball – just don’t step inside the course lines!
The Runner is the player up to swing. The runner will place themselves so the club is over the mat.
Only the Runner can score by making it through the flags without getting out.
Runners must take full swings on the ball and cannot purposely tap or bunt the ball to try and make it fall short.
How It Works Rec-Run™ is perfect for individual play or team action. The goal is to run the gauntlet and make it to the flags before getting tagged out. SPEED, AGILITY, and DETERMINATION are your FRIENDS!
